IUCON consult was founded in 2011.

We have more than 20 years of practical experience in the energy industry. For many years, we have coordinated partnerships of energy supply projects for municipal utility cooperations.

Since then, our services have included above all the procurement, planning and construction of green energy production capacities with all their tech-nical, energy-related, commercial and legal*) aspects. We managed and further developed the portfolio for nu-merous investment and fund companies in the field of green electricity generation.

Our core competence lies in the energy industry, commercial and contractual planning, implementation and sup-port of projects and transactions for decarbonization as well as the coordination of investor groups over the entire project life cycle.

Joachim Martini

After studying mathematics and business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and at the University of Texas at Austin, Joachim Martini initially spent several years developing complex IT sys-tems as a systems engineer and project manager in a responsible position.

After moving to the energy industry, he initially took on managerial responsibilities at an energy service provid-er. Since 2003, as managing director, he has shaped various companies in the energy sector.

In 2008 he initiated the founding of Energieallianz Bayern GmbH & Co. KG and developed it over 10 years into an investment service provider that covers the entire value chain of regenerative power generation. From 2019 to 2022, as a member of the Management Board of GLS Beteiligungsaktiengesellschaft, a subsidiary of GLS Bank in Bochum, he gave significant impetus to the development of investment and fund management.

Dr. Olaf Grabe

After an apprenticeship in banking, Dr. Grabe studied Law at the Leibniz University of Hanover and completed the master's degree in Legal Informatics in Hanover and Vienna. He received his doctorate in the field of US banking and capital markets law.

After his studies, Dr. Grabe initially worked as a company lawyer in the energy industry. Initially as a contract and claims manager in the wind energy sector of a US corporation and then as in-house counsel for a DAX company in the field of energy production and industrial plant construction. In 2014 he founded iucon Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH and has been advising his clients as an independent lawyer ever since.

The main areas of advice for lawyer Dr. Grabe are in the design, negotiation and management of plant construction contracts, corporate law transactions support for share and asset deals in the energy industry and implementation and execution of contract and (anti)claims management.
